Have you linked your MFP with Facebook?

I'm just a little skeptical about doing that .... in case of failure. When I started this journey I didn't want to tell anyone I planned to lose some weight just in case I didn't.

Now I'm thinking I'll just wait until I can take a picture I'm sure will suprise some friends.

I have mine linked but only to post when I've lost weight. I don't want every action I take on MFP clogging up my twitter or FB feeds! You should allow it to post just the weight loss...it can be a real motivator if you know that your loss will be posted for your other friends to see!

You know that is what I was thinking, but then I thought this morning, I have such a supportive group, quite a few possibly want to lose weight too, so why not tell them what is starting to help me? To me, I think the more that know, the more determined i will be to not let myself down!!

I didn't know you could set it up to only share certain things, interesting. I don't announce every pound I lose on Facebook,I usually wait until I lose a couple pounds then make an general comment on facebook. That way, it's less obnoxious. But with that said, I do have the ticker on my blog so if one of my friends really wants to know how my loss is going, they can look there. Hope that is helpful. Gael
  • I wouldn't dare put it up on FB!!!! I'm already privite about my wieght. Keep it up
