Accuracy of the Body Media HRM. I thought you would like this info...From 2/9/11 to 3/8/11 My HRM said I burned 107,527 calories I logged with my food 64,931 for a negative of 42,956 cals or 12.27 pounds. I actually lost 14.4 pounds from 2/9/11 to 3/8/11. The report showed I wore the HRM about 92% of the time. If I would have had it on 100% of the time it would have been right on the money. I cant stress enough to get one of these HRM because the calculators are just not accurate enough from my personal experiences.

Does anyone know if there is a UK form of body media? I have a polar ft4 HRM but would love to have one like Polo's that tracks everything all day!
Well done on the fantastic work Polo - you are always an inspiration!

Thanks Polo, this is awesome!
So, with a quick calculation, here is what I get. Based on the 28 days from 2/9/11 to 3/8/11 and using 92% wear rate you are burning: 4174 calories per day. You have consumed 2319 calories per day for a deficit of 1855 calories per day. Over 28 days this is a total of 14.8 lbs lost (compared to 14.4 actual lbs lost). That is pretty amazing how accurate that is!0
