Let's talk about some of our favorite/ most embarrassing people in the world... Our best/closest friends! Do you have any funny stories you want to share that just made you laugh at them? Share! I have a couple stories I want to share about my bestfriend Bailey...
Story #1: Bailey and I were about 15 and we went camping with my grandparents. We wandered into the camp trailer to find a snack and decided on toast. I began looking for butter and came across a container that read CRISCO... I was totally innocent here and I thought it was butter in a CRISCO container. So I put it on the table. Bailey was like um Heidi Jo this is CRISCO. I looked at her like she was stupid and said no Bailey my family eats real butter and this is real butter in a CRISCO container. She knew I wasn't one to argue with, so I began to "butter" her toast. I then watched her cautiously take a bite and began chewing. She made a horrible face and told me " Heidi Jo this is not butter!" I grabbed my butterred toast and before taking a bite I told her "yes it is Bailey! It's real butter! Man up and eat it!" then I took my bite and realized... It was not butter... Not even real butter... I had just made her eat CRISCO!! I gelt horrible although it was hilarious.
Story #2: when Bailey and I were around the same age of fifteen, I had the biggest crush on a senior boy named rudy. Bailey and I were in the gym for an aerobics class, and to my luck Rudy was there Also. He was playing basketball with some of his friends when the ball got loose and came straight to me. I grabbed it and gave it back to Rudy who then said "thanks homeslice".. Ya my heart did flip flops. When he walked away I turned to Bailey and said "Omg bay.. He called me homeslice!" Bailey gave me a funny look and goes... " a homeslice is a slice of homeade bread." I was like " Bailey homeslice is a slang term for homie or friend." she rolled her eyes at me and said " whatever , I know that a homeslice is a slice of homeade bread. That's what it means." I just let her think about it for awhile, and now that she knows what a homeslice REALLY is, it's so fun to tease her about it!
