Wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference is between these two workouts and which one would be better for someone just getting back to being physical???

Any help would be great!

The three I am familiar with are the 30 shred, shred it with weights, and the new one ripped in 30. All have varied levels of difficulty. Ripped in 30 has 4 levels and is probably a little more difficult level for level than 30 day shred. Shred it with weights I think only has 2 levels but is similar to the others with the 3-2-1 method. Hope this helps.

30 day shred is a great start to shed weight and get stronger then shred it is a follow up to get more stronger..here you always use weight for the exercises.....30 day shred is the best in my opinion

30DS is three different workouts on one DVD. The levels become progressively more difficult according to Jillian. Some people find level 2 more difficult than level 3. You use light weights. I had good results from doing the shred 30 times (days I missed I did doubles the next day) I did each level for 10 days. The actual workouts are about 20 minutes, there is also a warmup and cooldown making the commitment about 25 minutes.

Shred it with weights is a kettlebell workout although you can use a dumbell. I think it has two levels. I have only done level one as it was available On Demand on Exercise TV on my cable. It is a bit longer than the 30DS, but not too much.

Either one will be a good workout for you.
