I hit the jackpot!!!

My local grocery store had the following items on clearance today:

De Wafelbakker's waffles and pancakes - $1.25 a box. :noway: :noway: We these because they're organic, high in fiber, and very yummy.

Fiber One bars - $1 a freaking box!!!!! Are you serious? I cleared out what they had!!!

Amy's Indian entrees - $1.50 a meal. I LOVE these, because they let me have Indian food without making my husband eat it too. It's too spicy for him.

And finally -

All Morningstar frozen products - $1. I loaded up on veggie patties, chick'n patties, you name it, I grabbed it.

I feel like I hit some sort of private lottery that was set up just for me. WOOOO!!!!!!

$1.50 for Amy's meals???? OMG - that is a steal! i shell out about $3.50-ish a pop for those babies.

No, unfortunately I'm here in Illinois. That's probably the reason everything fairly healthy or organic is on sale. If it isn't covered in neon orange cheez type powder, it just isn't popular with most folk here. :bigsmile:

Yeah, California loves them organic, healthy foods. Still gotta read between the lines b/c not everything packaged as "natural" or "healthy" is the real deal. I mostly stick with Trader Joe's - reasonable price and excellent wine selection :happy:

Oh, I really wish we had a Trader Joe's. But alas, there isn't one even near enough to us for me to consider driving a couple extra miles. :frown: Oh well. If my local grocery store keeps having sales like this, I'll be a happy camper!!!
