    Are you weighing yourself everyday?

Yes, stop obsessing about the weight scale. Weight does not translate directly into health or fitness. Get yourself a body measuring tape and start tracking your progress in terms of lean-ness as well.

When considering your progress, ask yourself these questions in this order:

    1) How fit/healthy do I feel?

    2) Am I more lean than before?

    3) How much do I weigh?

Weight loss is not a good in itself, but is only good because of the outcome, which is a leaner body and a more fit and healthy body. The leaner body and healthier more fit body are the goals, not weight-loss, and those goals can often be furthered without weight-loss !

Alot of it probably is water retention. Muscles retain water after training to repair themselves. :)

Yes...I know it is bad..but I do weigh myself everyday..it gives me the motivation to keep going..I workout 5-6x a week..1x a week w/a personal trainer..I just added a celebrity fitness class on Saturday's to mix up the wkouts...I guess I'm getting obsessed w/the scale bc my routine has become go to work..wkout on my lunch break...come home go to bed get up and weigh again..I enjoy working out but I guess I need to relax and enjoy..I just don't want to get discouraged..this is my 3rd month of my lifestyle change..so just want to keep up the good work!!!
