hello! i downloaded this app for my iphone months ago, but am now finally really using it. it is great. i think it will really help me with reach my goals, since i am keeping track of everything i eat.
a little about me...
i am a SAHM of 3 kids (7 1/2, 6 and 12 1/2 months). I gained 60 pounds with my first child, and lost about half of that when i got pregnant with my second, which i gained about 40 pounds and only lost about half of that. with my third child, i only gained 27 pounds, with the help of having gestational diabetes and having to really watch what i ate. once i had the baby and wasn't "restricted", i gained the majority of that 27 lbs back.
I now have the full support of my husband, who is helping me with the kids in the evening so i can get my butt to the gym to work out. i'm tired of coming up with excuses not to work out. i'm tired of my busy, hectic daily life being a reason to not work out. i just need to do it. and eat right, of course.
i have worked out 4 of the last 5 days. yay me! i am really proud of that. mainly because by the end of the day i am so exhausted... and the fact that i am dragging my butt to the gym at 8, 9 or even 10:00 at night, really makes me proud of myself for doing it. and it's motivating me. and i already feel better. and i have even lost 4 pounds!
so, i'm giving myself 3 milestones to reach my main goal of a healthier me.
1. to be the pre-preggo weight i was when i got pregnant with my 3rd child.
2. to be the pre-preggo weight i was when i got pregnant with my 2nd child.
3. to be near the pre-preggo weight i was when i got pregnant with my 1st child.
i know that it will be tough. i know that it will take a lot of work. and i know i will need support.

Great goals!
I'm a mom of two little girls and this site helped me reach my pre preggo weight already... trying for my high school weight and have about 5 pounds to go.
BTW, my brother's wife is from Everett.... he brought the poor girl back here to Edmonton.
