fat is calories, its just more per gram, so you generally get more calories by eating fat rich food. you need to have a calorie deficit for weight loss, so however you do that the better.0

If it's weight loss you are looking for watch your calories. Calories in vs. calories out is what affects weight loss. That being said, 1 gram of fat has about 9 calories, while 1 gram of protein or carbohydrate has 4 calories, so you can get a more voluminous food if it is lower in fat. However, fat is often necessary for satiety. A balance is what you need.0

Just stay within your limits on both. Don't cut either right down, you'll hurt yourself. A lack of good fats will really dry your skin and hair.0
