that you need to eat your way up to 1350 calories....
    :)
they take the calories eaten and subtract the exercise calories.. which gives you more calories to eat.. so if you want a treat... get moving!!!!!!!!!!!!

Net is how many calories you haven't burned off.

calories eaten - calories burned = net calories.

Your net is how many calories your body THINKS you have eaten (based on how much you burned and it couldn't absorb into the body). You need to make sure your net is at least 1200 calories. If you are still confused, read my post I just posted called something like "MFP ALREADY GIVES YOU A CALORIE DEFICIT- EAT CALORIES!" I explain what net is in detail.

I had the same question at first. The terminology does seem confusing. With other diets I was always looking for 500 net calories per day (to lose 1 pound per week). Now net is a little different and you want it to be your calorie goal. So, a new thought process is needed.

The net number should be your calorie goal by the end of the day. You'll see at the top of the page "calories remaining" if you eat those (add them to the net) you'll be at your goal.

Don't skip breakfast young lady :) I posted on someone's thread yesterday, even if you wake up too late to have breakfast, you can always prepare something the night before. One of my favorites for this is a whole wheat tortilla with peanut butter and fresh sliced strawberries all wrapped up!
