Can you fill me in on teaching? If there's not a place that currently offers TK in your area, do you just go to health clubs and offer to teach or what?

When I looked up trainings in my area, it went from this weekend through June. How do I find out when else there might be training after June?

Any tips?

    I teach TK.

I put in applications to work at different health clubs and YMCA's in the area, and I also like to do other local stuff like at a church and charge like $1 or something to get people interested in working out. Most clubs around here did not offer it until me and some of the other new instructors applied. After giving the app we had a "tryout" basically where you introduce the club to the workout and they decide whether or not they first want the workout in the club, and second if you are proficient to do it. But after the training, that shouldn't be an issue. Some places don't have the audition, though, it depends on the club policies.

The easiest way to find out about other trainings is to contact the instructor. When you look on the website and find one near you, there is the option to email that person. The instructor should get back to you and can help you find a training best for your schedule. Also, when I contacted the presenter who taught me TK concerning PiYo, I told her my work schedule and she was cool enough to schedule a new training for PiYo on a weekend that she knew that I could attend.

And I would definitely do the live training. You'll get so much more out of it than the home study course.
