I thought that these were really great meal ideas. I know eating anything over 300 calories for one meal makes me feel guilty so these are really great alternatives. I hope you enjoy!

Although there are a lot of egg beaters & splenda use.... both of which I avoid (whole foods snob here  ) but they are really good "starting point" ideas anyway!

Neat-o site and recipes! They all sound delicious...I think I may try the Asian w/ the tofu.
    Thanks!

Thanks for mentioning that. I love the HG cookbook but I really can't bring myself to consume splenda or egg beaters. Oh and don't even get me started on non dairy creamer.

My favorite low-cal "dinner" is an egg-white omelette (I like to use real eggs - not egg beaters.)

Two egg whites, one stick of string cheese (peeled into strings), a couple slices of tomatoes, and dab of olive oil - comes out to about 110 calories. I like to add a small salad and half a whole-wheat pita. Easily under 300 cals.

My favourite under 300 cal dinner is grilled veggies on toast with home made herb hummus (basil hummus is my current FAV!)
