Your comment . . . "I really don't have time for me" is such a common one for many of us who have taken this journey. It can be an emotional one as well because it really all comes down to your priorities with your "time".
I learned that I deserve to put myself first and make the time to be the best person I can be. Until I choose to put myself at truly #1 and take care of my needs Im just not as useful to anyone else . . . cause Im the most important person in my life.
This has the added benefit of making me a better wife, mother, and all around person.

I take the time to prepare things for the week ahead on Sunday as I don't work weekends. I cook chicken breasts, boil eggs, wash/cut/portion veggies, and make bread. Only by preparing all of my own food can I really know what is in it, and of couse every morsel, taste preparing food, everything, is recorded on MFP. Truthfully I have learned much more about myself from my bad days. It is right there in black and white. I still have weeks that I know Im just coasting and not putting as much effort as Im capable of, but I try to make up for that by trying to only eat satisfying, nutritional food. I don't keep any junk in the house, a munchie craving is a handful of cereal or a piece of fruit, because there is nothing else to choose from . . . ha ha.

It has taken me 15 months to lose 50 pounds, but I've learned a lot about myself and feel that slow and steady wins the race.

It sounds weird, but once you do it for a little while, you get used to it, and it stops being hard. In the beginning, it's a little rough. You just have to find your stride. Focus on eating foods that have a lot of bulk, but are low in calories. There are certainly a few out there.

    1. Salads (leave off the dressing)
    2. egg whites - you can pretty much eat as many as you want and stick to the plan.
    3. water - helps to curb cravings.
    4. soup - A can of soup for lunch will keep you going and it's typically less than 300 calories.

Tough it out for 1 week, and it will get easier. After 2 weeks, you'll be used to it. Stick with it for 3 weeks and you'll never look back. It really does get easier. Just keep going and don't get frustrated.

It really does get easier when you stick with it, and get your new eating plan and exercise as part of your routine. I find myself so much more aware of what I'm eating and burning these days.

I feel the same as there really is no majic pill for weight loss and keeping fit. It's a lifesyle change and decision.
