Which HRM do you use?

I was thinking about getting the Polar FT4 but I'm not sure if I'm ready to pay that much for a hrm. I've been yo-you dieting for years now and now I'm really motivated to lose weight. My son deserves to have a healthy mom. So while looking for a hrm I found one that was a decent price but it got mixed reviews. So tell me what you use, do you like it, and if you don't mind, how much do it cost. Thanks to anyone that responds!

I myself use the Polar FT4M...I Love it...Paid $89 and would do it agian if needed... The BEST purchase i made this year...hold up! along with XBox 360 i just got.. Thanks...

I got the Polar FT40 a month ago and LOVE LOVE it. It is expensive but it is soooo worth the money. I actually bought it cheaper from ebay than what the polar website and amazon were selling it for. Just make sure you get one with a chest strap. If you don't get one with a chest strap, I think you will regret it like I did when I bought my very first HRM. I am happy with the polar now and it works great.

I bought the FT4 on sale at Amazon for $70 about a week into my exercising. Like you, I wasn't sure I wanted to throw a bunch of money at it since I really wasn't sure if I would stick with exercising and my change to healthier eating. long term. The result is that I'm REALLY happy with having made the purchase, and I use the HRM all the time. Great for my regular workouts, but it has been really good for logging exercise with my Xbox 360 (for Kinect games), when I'm drumming, shoveling snow, etc. Well worth the $$ I paid for it without a doubt.
