Do i have to move away from New Orleans to lose weight? I made a pig out of myself for Mardi Gras.

    Nope....I live here too, and I only splurged on one day. I did work this past Friday through Tuesday, so maybe that is why it wasn't so hard for me. Luckily Mardi Gras only comes once a year....

    There is food and temptation everywhere, not just in New Orleans and not just during Mardi Gras.

    Ha ha! I live here too! I know what you mean! First it was Thanksgiving then Christmas, New Years, Valentines, Mardi Gras, on and on it goes. Even lent is a feast in the Big Easy! I'm going to add both of you Who Dats as friends. Success to us all!

    I live here also and if its not the king cake then its the junk foods at the parades. I tried to bring fruits and things but had a hard time NOT eating it. I just jumped around like an idiot when the bands/dance teams came around......lol got a little work out in!!
