How often is everyone checking in? Once a week? Daily? Need help choosing

    Hi, I weigh myself every day (i know i shouldn't) and measure myself every other day, but i only check in if i have lost any inches, pounds or body fat, or if my muscle mass has increased any (trying to lower body fat and increase muscle mass).

    I find weekly is best as you don't get hung up on daily fluctuations.

    I weigh myself every morning and log it every day into MFP. This works for me because I do not get hung up on daily fluctuations (if you can't mentally handle that then don't weigh daily!). I am able to look at the daily fluctuations in weight and correspond them to the food I ate the day before, which works for me. It helps me see the affects of certain foods.

    I measured myself about a week or two in to my MFP logging. I am not sure when I will measure again. Maybe every few weeks or month?

    I weigh in weekly.... always on Sunday morning, as soon as I get out of bed and go to the toilet (TMI I know)..... I try to always make sure I simulate the same conditions / clothing to be as accurate as possible.... apples to apples so speak

    as for measuring, I measure waist weekly, but measure everywhere else monthly (neck, chest, legs. biceps, forearms, etc)

    I never weigh daily, it would drive me cRaZy .....

    BUT, dont rely on the number on that scale alone.... your clothes will let you know you are losing weight.

    I do the same. Weigh myself daily so I can see if I need to adjust something and log it on Monday mornings. Remember to weigh yourself at approximately the same time each time. I officially weigh in on Monday morning after I wake up and use the restroom, naked.
