lol, I totally understand. Don't know your personal situation but I'm in my 40's and most friends around this age are going through the same thing. It is being called Perimenapause. But, don't care what you call, just want it 2begone. So, I'm usually up till the wee hours doing work on the pc. Then crash! Then during the day, just can't understand why I'm so tired....ugh!!! If you find something that works, let me know!!!!:flowerforyou:0

I'm having trouble sleeping too, but thats due to nightmares. I know the cause of this emotional stress and just need to work throught it. Are you under any stress? We are all too quick to treat the physical symtoms without looking at the cause, (Doctors especially). Just a thought...

You're just freaking out because of hubby coming home-everything's running through your mind about that and the things you have to do/want to do between now and then.
I know it's hard but try to relax a little bit. Take a nice long hot bath soak or something. He'll be home before you know it!0 -

Just wondering, but have you had your thyroid checked? This is a very common problem and can also cause weight gain, insomnia, tiredness and a whole lot of other issues.0

I have 4 days left until my guy comes home but thats not why I can't sleep I don't think- my thyroid is fine I had it checked in April-- I could be stress but who knows-- thanks again0

I've been having this same problem. I started drinking Lipton Chamomile quiet time tea at night (decaf of course). :drinker: It has been helping. I am not sure if it is the tea of just that I have finally worn myself out.
I am going to agree with the other ladies and say that you are more anxious about your man coming home than you think you are and that will definitely do it.0 -

Over the past few years I have gone to my doc and she ran the tests, and every time it comes back "borderline". I have put on over 30+ lbs since my last visit and still "borderline".
It makes you think, at what point does it become an actual problem, not that I want that problem, but would it only take just one more pound to tip the scales? I don't want to find out.
I take a fast paced dog walk in the evening and it has been helping me to sleep. I suffer from not being able to fall asleep, then not wanting to get up in the morning. So I make myself go to bed at night, and after a few days I do actually fall asleep when I go to bed.0 -
Yes there is a tea called Sleepy Time that has helped me, but I'm 51 and I know that it is menopause also. I started taking Estroven and finally after a month I sleep better, not great, but better and the hot flashes have really subsided.0
