Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think eating more on days you exercise is calorie cycling, I think that's what you're supposed to do anyway. The way I understand it (and forgive me if these are your net numbers, you don't indicate if they are or not. If they are, ignore my post, lol) calorie cycling you are supposed to eat a few hundred calories more some days but not burn them off. Otherwise you're just eating according to MFP's plan (which does not account for calorie cycling)

I recently saw a post on here about "Zig Zagging Calories" that had some suggestions- do a search for that one- it had a daily calorie suggestion. Good luck!

Do your exercise on the 1200 cal days, and leave that 1500 without exercise. That should do it.

That is not calorie cycling. I find cycling helps me when I hit a plateau. You take your overall calories for the week and split it up per day so that every other day you eat more calories (300-ish) then other days. Goal is not to go over weekly allotted though.

What you are doing is taking in 1200 calories a day. Period.

Lets say you normally eat 1200 calories a day and you want to calorie cycle to confuse your body. You would go up about 200-300 more calores on a few different days during the week BUT, you would still need to be at your net calories meaning with your exercise calories burned, you will still need to be at a higher number net so......

you will increase your calories and still exercising but you will still eat more to get your net numbers up and over 300 calories or so then on a normal calorie day! All your doing is adding a few hundred calories a few days during the week but still keeping your net calories up there, your going to want to eat those calories or else why bother?! I hope this doesn't confuse you as sometimes it confuses me...LOL

    Good luck!
