New to MFP and enjoying it!

Hello to all,

I'm new to the site, at least over the last few days I've become fully integrated into it and I really like not only the food and exercise trackers but the forums and support that exist here as well. I've been gone for a long time over here and am trying to change my eating lifestyle before I get home so that we can implement the changes as a family. My wife is onboard with me to make the changes. I've always overeaten and though I've been active, especially with my job, I've been on the weight loss/gain rollercoaster for years. Now is the time to do it and I'd already begun before finding this site. I was tracking my workouts and eating on paper and then found MFP and I'm excited to have this community support. What I'd studied to get me going emphasized the need for support and people to whom I need to be accountable otherwise it's too easy to slip off the path of change. So, I'd appreciate ya'll keeping me accountable to my goals as I continue changing. Thanks!!!
