Asics

Just ran in my Asics...AMAZING! I usually have to work the eliptical or a treadmill because the concrete is too hard on my knees. I just tried these Asics out today and my run was so comfortable. I didn't know jogging could feel so nice! They were well worth the investment. I'm posting this to hopefully benefit anyone who is wondering if spending more on running shoes is worth it. I was tired before my legs were and it was fantastic!

I had to really beg for a pair for Christmas. I ended up doing things I would NEVER do, like taking out the trash, but they are so worth it!0

I used to work for The Sports Authority and I was the footwear specialist, ASICS are by FAR the best running or walking shoe out there. Good choice0

I went to a specialist shop and chose from several styles. Tried each of them on a treadmill for comfort. Ended up with some Brookes.
I think it really makes a difference if you get the specialist fitting and a choice. I tried Asics, but prefer the Brookes. It's a question of choice and what feels best for you and your running style!
I bought some cheap, Reebok 'running' shoes and the difference between them and my Brookes is amazing!!!
I'm just finished week 3 of the couch to 5K and decent shoes have made it much easier for me!
