Like if i had oatmeal and an orange for bfast at 10, should i have eaten the oat meal at 8 and the orange at 10? does it matter if i eat my lunch and my "snack" at the same time?
also, i dunno if its because i ate breakfast and snack all at once but i am not hungry what so ever, its already 3 pm! when usually i get hungry at like 1pm. should i have eaten at 1 and a snack at 3? dont get why i am not hungry tho.. yesterday i ate a huge omelet at 9 am and was starving by 12 pm. ?? why does that happen? i hear eat when you're hungry, but i'm scared that if i eat lunch too late i won't be hungry for dinner til midnight. wahhh i'm so confused =/

    Woah there, don't over-think it.
Yes, it's nice to spread what you eat out over the course of a day. But oatmeal and an orange at once isn't going to break the bank. Most people would still consider that a mini-meal, or even a snack. If you're not hungry, don't eat. Or have a small snack if you're feeling low energy. Listen to your body; it knows more than a website could ever tell you.

It is more important what you eat. If eating oatmeal and orange at 10 works for you then do what works. There will be some that say mini meals spread throughout the day...I don't like eating like that...I find I end up eating too much...I am more of a three mealer...so do what works

    Hi!
I asked myself this all of the time! If you have a chance to read Jorge Cruise's 3 hour diet book, read it.. Its a book that teaches you how to eat and what to eat. I don't follow this book word for word but I do take alot out of it. I eat 3 small meals and 2 snacks usually 3 hours apart. This will help keep your metabolism up. If you are stretching out the times you eat too far apart, your body will start using the nutrients from your muscles, and the fat stays!! In between, drink plenty of water this will keep you "feeling full". Hope this helps!

I try to eat something every 3 hours or so to keep my metabolism up and to stave off hunger. I tend to make poor choices if I let myself get really hungry. I don't worry about times. A lot of people don't eat after a certain time, like 7 pm but I have found it really doesn't make a difference in my weight loss. I usually have dinner between 8 pm and 9 pm then have a snack before bed between 11 and 11:30 pm. I think it comes down to calories in verses calories out. As long as you burn more than you eat you will lose.
