To protect them: Moleskin!! Put on some ointment, a dressing and cover with moleskin. (Avail. at pharmacy)

To prevent, you might want to have your feet measured and properly fitted for the type of work/exercise you're doing.
    Also, good socks! ;)

    Good luck!!

To prevent recommend wearing two pairs of socks and applying vaseline to feet. A good pedicure to smooth feet always a good move. If you still get blisters, apply blister plasters - they act like a second skin but also draw the fluid out of the blister. Great thing is you can still walk. I walked 15 miles two weekends ago and still managed 7 miles last weekend complete with blister plaster. Happy walking!

I used to get terrible blood blisters around my toes. I went to a running shoe store where they analyzed my stride and recommended a sneaker. I haven't had a problem since. So, I think the running shoe I had been wearing was the problem My cross trainer didn't cause any blisters. This is my first post, so hello
  • In terms of prevention, I thoroughly recommended '1000 mile socks'. You'll find them on Amazon amongst other places, they are under £10 and guarantee no blisters for at least 1000 miles.

They are brilliant, they let your feet breath a bit so that the moisture doesn't build up to the extent of blisters. I've been using them since Jan, used virtually every day and not one blister.

    Good luck!
