bad posture?

So I've had bad posture ever since middle/high school. I would always hunch over when I sat, or I'd scoot down on the seats (terribly un-ladylike). I've corrected myself a bit over the years but not completely. I've started doing some back exercises recently and I'm noticing improvements but I still find myself hunched over a lot, especially with my shoulders.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what types of exercises I could do?

Yoga Yoga and more Yoga. I work at a desk all day and have rounded shoulders after 20+ years of it. Yoga has made such a difference in my back strength - core strengthening is super for posture too, get your core strong you will automatically stand straighter.

Physical therapy is really good for learning how to get correct posture. I've been learning how to sit correctly and stuff. It is quite hard! I'm sitting in a bad position right now lol. From my experience no exercises "make" you stay in a specific position. It's just developing a level of body awareness and actually practicing sitting up straight in a chair and standing straight. If you practice this for a few minutes everyday soon you'll become more aware of what you're doing on a daily basis. It will become more automatic over time.

    I'm guilty, too.

I haven't done much yoga or pilates yet, so I'm not sure if it's doing anything, but I love how they make me feel. Like a cat that just got up from a long nap and took a biiiiiiig stretch!

Pilates works for me, I always stand much taller and feel much longer.

Whenever I row, I notice an immediate improvement in my posture. Also anything that works your core will be good - abs, back, etc.

Very good suggestions, I should definitely include yoga or pilates in my workouts. I do know I have to start thinking about it more often and correcting it every time I catch myself in a bad position. I wish I had a sensor that zapped me whenever I'm sitting wrong!
