Does anyone have any good ideas on how to get rid of that flabby fat roll around your stomach? like the one you get from having kids? I am doing cardio and sit ups..any other things I could do to speed up the process to get rid of it and have a flat stomach? Thanks!

You can't target where to burn fat.
Just keep counting calories and losing weight. If you're anything like me, the sromach will be the last thing to go.
Doing sit ups is great, and it will firm the muscles in that area, but it will not burn the fat in that area only........0 -
The dreaded mom roll! I have it too. Doesn't look too bad when I am standing up but the minute I bend over it droops! From what I have read core exercises and cardio can help some, but if your ab muscles separated from pregnancy, only surgery can completely fix it. Unfortunately, mine are separated a great deal.0

Sit ups won't do it. Burning fat is the only way - that's cardio/weight training and eating right. If yo uwant crushing cardio, go to www.bodyrock.tv and do a couple of her workouts a day. They build strength, core stability and burn tons of calories. You can't effectively burn just belly fat, you just drop it all over your body.
Raise protein, cut carbs, lift heavy weights - every day and it will happen.

I have had 4 c-sections so my stomach is nowhere near what it was prechild. I have recently started the elliptical and although this is not a magic cure I have noticed a difference-my belly is somewhat smaller, also I really notice the butt of my pants have gotten extremely baggy. I read in Fitness magazine to use a fitness ball and do crunches on that and for a little extra umph to hang on to a 5 lb weight while crunching. Good luck:))0

In addition to what steve said, you may want to try p90x's ab ripper x (you could probably find segments online or a list of the exercises too). like they said, you cant target fat loss, however, you can target where you build muscle (I am pretty positive). So lots of cardio with ab exercises0
