Does anyone know if they soak the chicken in salt before steaming?
I thought I was safe witht hat as my order but it tasted salty. And since I have cut out adding salt - i am very sensitive...

Maybe every place is different but mine had tasted like air. Maybe you should call and ask. Just a suggestion.

I know the two restaurants I go to, they both say No Salt, MSG added on the menu. You might have to check with the restaurant.

Doesn't always have to be the restaurant that's adding the salt. Depends on the quality of meat that they're buying and how much crap gets injected into it initially. Even different brands of chicken you buy in the store will have differing levels of sodium because some companies inject their meats more than others.

There was one package I saw in a store the other day that actually had a sticker right on the package that said up to 25% of weight from whatever it was they had pumped into it. I actually shuddered at the mere thought.
