Hello all! I'm a 22-year-old grad student who's getting married in a little over a year, and I'm looking for motivation/accountability to get back in shape with a busy schedule! Because after 10 hours standing all day, I tend to throw in the towel on exercise...and I need to do better!

Honestly, my biggest problem is snacking. I have hormone issues and constantly have crazy sugar cravings. I was actually underweight in high school (couldn't gain weight if I wanted to), then the hormones finally kicked in during my junior year of college and I've eaten way too many sweets and made too many excuses since then. I also struggle with emotional eating.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds, and hopefully 10 pounds by May 1st! Would love any suggestions on topics/groups that focus on emotional eating, sugar cravings, or accountability! =)

I have always had the "snack attacks"! I have found that if I just buy like baby carrots and put them in a ziplock baggie, when I get the urge just eat some of those. Also for sweets The 100 cal snack packs or a glass of chocolate milk fixes me right up. Chewing gum and a glass of water helps too. Water gets the hunger gone and the gum keeps my mouth occupied. lol! Good luck!!
