Anyone do Insanity and then 30 Day Shred? Or should I do P90

I don't know much about the 30 Day Shred I'll admit, so this is probably an easily answered question. I just finished week 2 of Insanity and plan to complete the whole program - but I like to plan ahead. I want to drop some more fat before summer. To give my backstory - I went on Medifast and lost 55lbs - I'm now off Medifast and want to tone up - too much skin (I also had a pregnancy and c-section with an 11.5lb baby so I have a lot of tummy problems). I'm maintaining my weight by exercising (since the beginning of the year) and am just starting to see the scale inch downward again on Insanity.

I have P90X at home already waiting - but I'm considering doing the 30 Day Shred after Insanity, but before P90X. How do these programs compare? I would assume I'd work off some more weight on the 30 Day Shred, but gain more muscle on P90X? So if I want to slim down even more, would the 30 Day Shred make more sense? Or P90X?

I am definitely a plan ahead type of gal!

30 Day Shred costs $10, P90x costs $150. Without diving into details its pretty obvious which is the quality investment. I'll let fans of these 2 programs let you know the specifics but just wanted to point out the obvious - you get what you pay for .

I'm doing Insanity currently and plan to move onto p90x afterwards. I've tried 30 day shred but it wasn't really for me, I much prefer insanity.
I'd personally suggest p90x, I've seen some great results from people using that and it does seem to help you tone/lose weight as well as building muscle. There's also a lean version of p90x you can get that involves a bit more cardio. Or you could always do a mixture of 30 day shred and p90x, spreading 30ds every 3 days so they both run together for the whole time?

if you are doing insanity i would suggest p90x. 30 DS won't be challenging enough.

This has answered the question I had in mind. Thanks :)

if you're doing insanity 30DS will be a cake walk for you move up to something more challenging like P90X or check out some of the other beachbody workouts, and I"m a 30DS fan, it's what I started with! It's just so much shorter than the Insanity, you will be like, "that's it?"

The 30 Day Shred is like the high school sports vs professional sports in Insanity, this I know from personal experience. P90X might be the minor leagues, but I've never done it and am only basing it on what I've seen other people post about Insanity being more intense than P90X. If you finish Insanity , move on to the Asylum or start a heavy strength training regimen.

Lol, I'm doing 30DS and working my way up to P90X/Insanity. I don't think 30DS would challenge you, to be honest.
