Should I do an apple to boost weight loss goals?

I was under my calorie goal of 500 not 1200. And I worked out and I only lost .6 ounces. I was thinking a pd or two would of been lost. I am considering doing an apple day for the next 24 hours? What do you think? I am an hcg dieter in phase 2. This is day 7 and I am at 6 pounds which is discouraging. However, I had one day off due to being ill so techinally it is day 6 in the diet for me. Any advice.
