Cardio weight classes

Hey All,
Recently when talking with a trainer they mentioned that the calories you burn from lifting shouldn't be added onto your daily caloric intake because you are burning sugars instead of fats. Makes sense and also answers the question of why MFP doesn't put calories burned on the strength section.
But my question is, what about classes that combine the two such as YogaSculpt at CorePower Yoga or even BodyPump class etc how do you know if you should add those or not?
Thoughts?
