I've been fooling myself thinking I was eating less than I was, or at least less calories than I thought. Myfitnesspal has helped me to loose 9 lbs in about 9 weeks, and I'm now able to track nutrition with a marked improvement. It helped me to realize that my diet is low in fiber, Vit A , and iron. So I am now taking daily vit and iron suppliments. This place is not only going to help improve my health but likely extend my life.
I was disappointed to discover with the BMI that even after I meet my goal of losing 50 lbs, I'll still have a higher BMI than recommended. Maybe by then I'll want to press on for more.

Don't worry about the BMI. It still says I am way over weight, but I maybe have 10 lbs to lose. I never want to be in what they call the "normal" range as I would look sickly and anorexic.0
