Measure using a food scale, NOT with measuring cups

Just a heads up for those obsessive people such as myself.. Buy a weight scale and don't rely on cup measurements. As I was preparing my "Three cups" of brown rice yesterday in the microwave, I measured it out on my scale in grams. The "Three cups" of rice filled up exactly 2 cups in the measuring cup. If you just used a measuring cup, you would be getting 1/3 more rice than you wanted, and consuming that many more calories. This was Fry's Brown Rice FYI. Weird but true.
