My knees are aching after 5 days of 30 day shred!

Has anyone had any issues with knee pain while doing the 30 day shred? I don't want to quit prematurely if this is normal and will go away. It hurts to walk now so I am just doing the 30DS and no additional cardio or anything. I used to lift weights years ago and know what muscle soreness is after a hard workout. This hurts deep in a squat and when landing doing jumping jacks. Should I just keep pushing through? I just hate to quit, but if it is common with this workout then I need to find an alternative.
I should also note that I have gained 2 pounds since starting this program. I am cautious with my food but I have cut the walks out.

I found that my muscles directly above my knees were sore but not the joints themselves. Perhaps dont squat so low and maybe exchange the jumping jacks for the skipping, but instead of coming up all the way off the floor with your feet come up onto your toes, so barely any impact for your knees.0
