My suggested cal intake according to myfitnesspal is 1300 to lose 2lbs per week and my BMR is 1704 which should i go with? Ive been drinking plenty of water and staying under 1300 and seem to be doing pretty good. I plan to start zumba soon which i know will add some cals to my intake and i just need to know which i should go with.

    AS far as I understand it ( and I could be wrong) is that you need to have roughly a 500 cal deficit between your bmr and what you eat in a day to lose weight

    You're BMR is only what your body will burn if at rest, when you first signed up it asks you what type of lifestyle you lead which should boost it up. To lose two pounds a week you need to eat roughly 7000 calories a week less than your BMR or 1000 calories a day. if you are basically sleeping all day or sitting in a chair. If your job requires you to walk around or be somewhat active then the amount of calories you burn are slightly more than your BMR. For me my calorie intake to lose 2 lbs a week is 2310, I have been eating between 1000 and 1200 calories a day and I am losing about 4-5 lbs a week. I don't suggest you do this unless you are being monitored by a doctor though. Obviously exercising can also get you there as well. so if you take in 500 calories less on the food side and burn 500 calories a day you could be there as well.
