When should I start seeing results?

So I've been going to the gym, or doing some sort of cardio for at LEAST half an hour each day since the middle of january, except for the last couple of weeks as I've been recovery from gallbladder surgery but for that month I was working out, eating relatively well - except I sometimes am 200-300 below my calorie intake cause I just can't eat that much!
So what I'm trying to say is, is that for a month I didn't loose a single pound. Shouldn't I be seeing SOMETHING tho? Or is it that I don't do weights or sometimes don't hit my calorie intake?

A big misconception is that you HAVE to eat all those calories. you dont. Dont worry so much about that. The big thing is, you've stalled. Doing light cardio will not help you lose weight. when your body gets used to the same routine, it stops losing. you need to change things up, and increase the intensity of your workouts. try zumba, or lift some weights then do cardio. up your cardio..run or walk uphill, use a bike, and do it for longer.0
