After my first week, I'm already down 12 pounds!! I've tried in the past but the weight always creeps back on. I'm now on medications with the side effect of weight gain, grrr. I'm really focussed and with the help of MFP, I'll get there!

You can do it. keep you head up as you go and it will get easier. I'm just starting back up myself. Just started the 30 day shred. I am on meds to and they dont help me much but we both can work thru it. We just have to stick together.

I have the med problem too. My weightloss has slowed way down, but we can totally kick their butt. Good luck on your weight loss mission :)

if you will look at this as a "lifestyle" change and not a diet it will work. the word diet refers to the food you eat and there are hundreds out there. there are junk food diet, meat and potatoes diet, etc, etc, etc. but if you "change" the way you eat by selecting healthier foods, cooking from scratch and not so much processed food, adding fresh fruits and veggies to your intake and removing refined sugar and sodium from your diet, you will lose weight. and over time this will become a habit so there in you have changed your lifestyle to a healthier one.

good luck with your journey and we will be right here all the way with you.

I just started as well but a lifestyle change is the way I have to look at it as well. I hope you have a great weight loss journey.
  • Thanks so much for the support!! I'm having celery today to try to make up for last nights lasagna; lol...
