with 21 pounds off your body. It's simply amazing how much easier it has been for me to go faster and climb better on my road bike when you lose that kind of weight. Today was an awesome day, I was able to squeeze in a 45 mile and did it in good time and it was reflected in my avg speed. If this isn't motivation for me to keep up with watching what I eat and getting a good amount of exercise in then I dont know what would be The climb that I normally do is a good grinder and I used to struggle to climb it at 5-6mph today I did it over 8mph (8.2 to be exact) and caught a climber that had a good .25 mile head start on me LOL I'm sure he would have pedaled faster if he had known that I was trying to catch him but I wanted to give myself a carrot while I climbed. I'm no Lance but for a middle aged guy it's pretty cool.
Here's the data from the ride for you cyclists out there to peruse. http://t.co/hOemfQk
Sorry if I seem like I'm gloating but I'm pretty stoked right now and just wanted to share.
