I have this OXO scale. It's a little pricey but I got fed up with the cheaper versions.

OK, so maybe third time will be a charm..and I will like this scale. I got the perfect portions scale that was on Dr. Oz. Pricey, but if it works, I am all for it. This is the sc ale taht gives me all the information according to my portion of food that I put on it..cant get any more precise than THAT!!

    Haha..I went from buying a 10 dollar p.o.c. to a 20 p.o.c. to a 30 p.o.c. ...and dang...this one is 50..lets hope it works!!

I use the Fit board thing with my Wii. It's the most accurate scale I've got in the house.

I use one i got free from doing a washing powder survey. It really doesn't matter. A scale is a scale. A gram on an expensive scale isn't going to weigh less or more on any other scale.

I use a digital postal scale from Pelouze:

    http://www.amazon.com/Pelouze-SP5-2200g-Capacity-All-Purpose-Straight/dp/B00006IACE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1300070728&sr=8-1

You can find them at Staples, Office Max, etc. as well.

It's very handy because it has the tare feature, allowing you to zero your weight after various measurements. For example, for breakfast I'll put a bowl on it and hit the tare button. That zeroes the scale. Then I add about 40g of Wheaties (1.5 servings), zero it again. Add 40g of raisins (1/4 cup). Zero it again. Add 240g of skim milk (1 cup).

Using the scale allows me to measure what I'm eating without having to get all my measuring cups dirty all the time. It's a great feature for me, and most foods list not only a volume per serving (such as 1/2 cup) but a weight as well. It's much easier to weigh the serving on the plate/bowl/whatever than to measure it out using cups or spoons. This is particularly true for things like peanut butter on bread, which I find hard to get out of the measuring spoon.

I have this one and like it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001N07KUE

    It's from EatSmart.

I have this one and I am very happy with it. I have weighed everything I have eaten for the past 80 days on it and the batteries are still going strong. It is a bit small, so large plates can cover the readout, but eating off of small plates is a good thing.
