Will a fan hurt my workout?

I've attached a small fan to my elliptical to help cool me off half way through my workout. I'm wondering if cooling myself off will lower my heartrate and reduce the effectiveness of the workout. Any thoughts or knowledge?

Won't hurt your workout. You'll be fine.0

No, a fan will not affect your workout at all unless it's strong enough that you have to work harder because it's trying to blow you away!0

It won't hurt at all. I run outdoors for that reason, getting wind blown on you, feels nice especially on a cool evening or morning. Some people believe if they sweat more they're burning more fat, but that's not the case.0

You'l be fine, if anything it will definitely keep you on it for a longer period of time because you'll be more comfortable!0
