Thank you for posting that. I have always worked out in the mornings until recently when I started working out at night. I like it, but it can get cancelled too easily. I work a full time job and and am married with an almost 2 year old. So when I put my daughter to bed I want to work out, but if my husband wants to spend time with me, I don't want to turn him down. I go to sleep early and need my prayer/reading/down time at night before I got to sleep. I am finding I am only working out 3 or 4 times a week, when I would like to do it 5 or 6, so I think I need to start getting up 1/2 hour earlier! Anyway, that was a long explanation of me saying that was exactly what I needed to hear. And the funny thing is when I just got on MFP, I was thinking how I need to get up early and work out and the first thing I saw was your post. I love how God works! He is so faithful!0

Ha! You are a savior. I was planing on working out early tomorrow, but kept convincing myself that I can just do it later in the day.
Then, I saw your post. Thank you!0 -
baha i know myself & that wouldn't work for me
) i am a habitual snooze hitter & the blankets would just end up over my head for "5 more minutes" that turns into 20 & i'm rushing out the door & missed the opportunity to work out in the morning. i'm hoping a change of schedule will help me workout earlier. i worked evenings for a while & worked out during the day & it made me more health conscious, so i made better food choices overall & had more energy. thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the article! Those are some really great ideas that I would never have thought to use. The lamp one seems so basic, but it's probably very effective, lol.
I also found some other great links through this one, too!0 -
This might help too....I would love it if I could afford it....they have these alarm clocks that a while before your alarm starts to light up..simulating the sunrise....and by the time your alarm goes off it's really bright...I can't remember the name....but I just googled "Sunrise Clock" and a lot of different kinds came up....0

I think it all has to do with your workout to getting up in the morning. I have an almost 3yr, husband, full-time student, and full-time job so I understand needing to find time for it all. I started Turbo Fire 7 weeks ago and I have no issues getting up at 4am each weekday and 7am wkend mornings because this workout gets me super pumped and energized. I even found that on my rest days I have to do a small amout of exercise just to feel okay.
So I suggest finding a workout that keeps you interested and energized. If you have an issue with hitting snooze don't keep your alarm clock next to the bed move it across the room so it forces you to get out of bed to not disturb everyone in the house.
Good luck!!!0
