IHOP question--Please help!!

Went to IHOP for dinner tonight because I love their new simple & fit menu selections. My question is this: I had the simple & fit spinach mushroom omelet (put oven tomatoes on top---sooooooo good!)and it came with a side of hollandaise. I don't remember that being on the menu, so I got excited at first that the hollandaise was included and the calories were still under 400! I thought, "woohoo!!" but then I quickly brought my thoughts back down to earth and thought it must have been a mistake. I had very little of the sauce before I realized that it was probably a mistake. The server thought it was a mistake, too. I didn't eat the rest of the sauce and came home and checked their menu and couldn't find any information on an individual serving of hollandaise sauce. Does anyone know if that sauce is included in that calorie count or not? I would really appreciate some help on this. Thanks!!!

Google IHOP Hollandaise sauce - a site live strong, will give you a nutrition label with information, looks like 60 calories for 1/4 cup - not that it's guaranteed accurate, but I've found most of the items on there to be or close to what I've found on other sites...0

Hate to say it but I've never gotten hollandaise sauce the several times I've ordered that exact omelet at IHOP. I *wish* it was included in the 400 cal. mark!0

Google CalorieKing. It has a huge listing of foods.0

I didn't google it, but I used to work in restaurants, it is highly unlikely that the hollandaise would be included in the 400 calories. Sorry! I would say a teeny drizzle of it over the omelete wouldn't have been SO terrible though0

Well guys, I had already tried google and came up with varying calorie information. So no reliable help from google unfortunately. Calorie king was no help either. They have the dinners that have the sauce with them, but not the individual sauce itself. I saw the live strong site said 60 calories per 1/4 cup, but that just seems to good to be true, ya know?
I just thought someone on here might have an answer. I am going to contact the restaurant and see if they can help. Thanks anyway.0 -
Just found my husbands Biggest Loser Calorie Counter Book - granted everybody has their variations, but here's what it gives for Hollandaise Sauce
1 TBSP
43 calories, 1 protein, no carbs, fiber or sugar, 5 fat, 3 sat. fat, 39 sodium0 -
Thanks for that infor jllipson! I imagine that I probably had 2 tbsps of the stuff. I am still writing the company though, hope I get an answer! Thanks for everyone's help! :drinker:0

According to the database, the omelette would be without the hollandaise sauce-sorry.0
