Hello everyone !

I'm 88kg and I am so desprate too loose some weight Ideally to get too 83, 84kg just as a Starting point ,
I have used my fitness pal before but like proberly a lot of you I fell off the wagon thought I could keep it up !

I lost 2kg previously and have recently put it back on which I'm gutted about !

Any tips to make fitness and eating any easier?
Quick excersizes that burn quite a few calories ?
Snacks that wont send your calories through the roof !

These things will really help me !

Theres nothing easy about losing this weight.. its hard work, eating right and exercising.. it can be done.. you just gotta commit.. Follow the goals MFP sets for you, workout daily. Wii games like Just dance and Zumba are fun to get a good workout while having fun dancing! Best of luck on your journey!!!
Theres all kinds of 100 cal snacks out there now or even less
    Fat free jello cup 5cals
Chocolate mousse temptations are 60 cals
    Thinsations Cheese Nips 100 cals
Multigrain Rice thins 80 cals in 10 crackers
    Fruits!!!
There are lots of 100 cal Fiber 1 bars too .. but becareful with the sugar in those!
Keep an eye on your sodium so your not retaining water... speaking of water .... you should drink lots of it!!!

I would say to find a work out program that will keep you motivated. Join one of the groups, I myself have been doing a mixture of turbo fire and chalean extreme. I like her style and her motivation.

As for food, I know others have suggested michis ladder.. http://www.beachbody.com/category/michis_ladder.do it will help you choose the best foods!

Just put you mind to it and know that you are doing something good for you!

I agree with the above posts, routine is also important. I started doing the 30 Day Shred, I find this is working for a few reasons. The main reason being I'm doing it every day and eat more carefully as I know I have to work my *kitten* off when I get home!!!

    Good Luck!

I just bought the book "body sculpting bible" by Rivera and Villepigue. The book is a helpful resource of not just exercise advice but also nutritional guidelines and explains why your body reacts to food and exercise the way it does.

I highly recommend it. It includes the 14-Day Body Sculpting workout, Sample meal plans and Journal Sample.

I also recommend you buy the following tools if you don't already have these:

    1. Journal, Notebook to track your progress to supplement myfitnesspal.
    2. Food Scale and Use it to weigh the items you cook
    3. Weight Set/Mat (Small to Medium weights you can use at home)
    4. Jillian Michaels DVD "30 day Shred".

I also recommend you do this today. Get your Camera and take a Picture of yourself, pint it and put it somewhere you'll see it daily to remind you of why you want to lose weight. In 30 days, take another and you'll be glad you put the effort into it.

suggestion, I buy sachets of sugar free Jelly, you mix the powder with 1pint of water (half boiling water, half cold) divide it in to 3 tupperware containers then open a can of fruit (always the cans that are in their own juice not in syrup-too many wasted calories otherwise) then divde the can of fruit between the 3 tubs. set in the fridge and they are a perfect snack for not many calories amd takes longer to eat than a choc bar. I just made orange jelly with peaches. gorgeous! be warned, some fruited stop the jelly setting, like pineapple for example. peaches and manderine segments are ok, i can tell you that much. 1 portion the wat I make it is less than 50 calories per portion easily. or you could just have the no added sugar jelly for less than 10 calories. but the fruit fills tha gap until meal time better.
organisation organisation organisation. look to lee what food you have in the house already so you can plan your options and plan what you are going to have for the next day, fitting it in with your calorie allowance, Makes you feel better because you are organised, and it takes away the temptaion of opening fridge, cupboards or going to shops trying to decide what to eat. you wil pick up what you planned to eat and just get on with it. If you feel like you are going to have a struggle day and may fall off the rails than get up and do something to distract yourself straight away. Do anything!.

Good luck, you'll be back on time and slim and sexy in no time

I can also recommend a book i read years ago that really boosted my motivation hugely, I'm about to read it again, it's just a chick lit book but the girl in it really made me push myself because i had empathy for her, its light hearted, funny book aimed at 20-30somethings (and dieters I think) its a bit silly but a real page turner for me. Let me know if you read it anyone, and what you think. Jemima J. By Jane Green.

    Good luck everyone.

I would agree with this and take measurements for the weeks you may not have lost much or anything, you can often fiind motivation in the inch loss, because the rest of the world will see the inches you've lost but only you see the scales. Also 30day shred dvd is a good initial motivational kick start into exercise and dieting.

Wow thankyou so much some real good advice and motication floating around here atm !
Thankyou all so much I am just sick of saying I want to I want to...

I now want to say I WILL I WILL !

I need to get my mind in the right position so going to slowly start out again instead of jumping in at the deep end, I think this could be where I have went wrong before as I think I can manage but really I cant

Baby steps, you have to crawl before you can walk as they say !
    xx
