So...I'm heading to the grocery store this evening and I'm really trying to get back into the healthy eating habit! (It's been a while). I already have a pretty good list, but I'd love some suggestions...

Thanks!

Kashi makes a great granola bar! it's made from 100% whole grains and has 7 g of protein, so it will fill u up for only 140 cal.! ooh! and if ur a choc. milk person Hood Calorie Countdown is absolutely amazing! 90 cal. 5 carbs 3 g of sugar 8 g of protein.

Berries are in season now - strawberries, blackberries and raspberries.....YUM!

Chicken breast, low-fat string cheese, eggs, whole wheat bread, nuts and lots of fruits/veggies are always on the top of our list!

Brown rice... it is a more complex carb and has better fiber value. Takes long time to cook though so keep that in mind. Also, eggplant. Is yummy and soaks up whatever flavor you cook it with.

Whole wheat pita bread! It tends to have more fiber and less calories than regular bread. And it's still delicious!

See...I used to get Fiber One bars and LOVE them because they taste great and fill me up, BUT...they make me SO gassy! And I kept with it for like 2 months thinking it would eventually go away, but it never did. SO, no more Fiber One bars for me.
