I just worked out that I have been on MFP for a year now, and I also worked out (because I am a mathematical genius clearly) that means I have lost 1lb a week for that year!! I know that some weeks I lost nothing, and some weeks I lost more than that, but it means that in the 52 weeks I have been here, I have lost 52lb and I have to say I am hugely pleased with that. I would like to say it was more, and really it should be, as if I was working out and not falling off the wagon now and again then I should be looking at a higher lb per week average, BUT I am close to my goal (in fact I am past my original goal) and it has become harder, but I was just pleased to have such an even average and it proves to me that overall, even though it feels like I am not getting anywhere this month, I am beyond where I wanted to be this time last year, a place that at the time I was thinking it would not be possible for me to be.

Thank you MFP :flowerforyou:

That is great!! A pound a week is a good weight loss and you clearly ARE a mathematical genius to have worked it out that way

I have been having a battle with the scale, it is stubbornly sitting at 148lbs, I had two busy weekends, with two birthday parties, lots to eat and drink and a Wedding Anniversary celebration, I guessed I would gain and I did, but only a little, and then I weighed myself this morning and guess what? 148lb....not even a . of a lb under lol Ahhh well, been walking this weekend, done almost 6 miles so hope that on Monday...fingers crossed.....147.anything lol

Great job for sticking with it for a whole year....WTG! Keep up the good work. Besides, better chance of you keeping it off as you have stuck with it for this long, so slow isn't always a bad thing! Nice.

Great job!! I bet you are feeling great, too! Don't get discouraged with plateaus. I've been stuck for quite a while now, so I'm trying new things (C25K) and recommitting myself to MFP (had slacked off logging for a while). Hoping to break through this. Good luck!!

I was on a plateau and then started C25k and have lost 2.5 lbs in 3 weeks, which is really good for me
