I've almost erased any of my minimal weight loss by GAINING - this past week was full of sodium and eating out and being stupid, but I didn't think I'd gain two pounds.
I'm pretty discouraged right now.

Hang in there and don't give up!
It's amazing how only a few days can seem to erase weeks of hard work. Use this past week as motivation. Saturday I was way high on my sodium so I am going to try my hardest to use only half of my sodium for the next two days. Another way to use this past week to your advantage: every time you ate out add on 10 min. of exercise? These are just thoughts, still brand new at watching what you eat... but I am convinced I will succeed and so will you!0 -
Water, water, water! This will help wash that sodium out of your body. The 2 lbs will dissapear before you know it!0

First of all...don't beat yourself up!!! We are human, we eat out!! HAHA! You have worked so hard, so today just start fresh and make yourself have a good week. If you exercise 3 days a week...maybe exercise 4. Watch your foods and DONT GIVE UP!!! We all have a bad week here and there..we are human!! I stayed the same for 3 weeks straight!! I was soooo upset, but then I told myself that it was better than going backwards to where I was before. As of today, I have lost 30 pounds and I feel so much better!!! I have more to go and this will be the hard part, but I'm NOT giving up! I know that I can do it! There are LOTS of good diet, healthy foods out there for all of us to choose.
Have you tried Hungry Girl yet? Log on to her web-site, youtube, or even buy a book. She is on TV somewhere, but I haven't found her yet on TV. I have found so many good foods to eat!!!
You can do it!!!0 -
Look at it this way, it isn't the first time you've gained weight and it won't be the last! Losing 44 pounds is not going to be easy and some weeks you won't have a loss and maybe you'll even gain a little. But... If you keep at it more of these weeks will have a loss, and sense of pride, and victory! You can do it. Water water water!0

Yes - I agree with everyone else. Hang in there, drink tons of water and maybe up your exercise.
I gained about 5 lbs in two weeks with lots of eating out, a few more glasses of wine and no exercise.
I was VERY discouraged. But I've lost 3 of them and I know the other two will be off next week and then it's back on track with a vengeance
We are going to go up and down - this is a lifestyle change - not just losing 10 lbs for the wedding or the reunion.
Part of this journey is learning how to eat out, skip exercise, gain back a few pounds but not let it stop us. We learn how to handle it and keep going!!
Stay in there and stay strong -you can do it!!!!!.0 -
