Great Value - All Purpose Flour, 1 cup
Generic - Cinnamon, Ground, 1 tbsp
Calumet - Baking Powder, 1 tsp
Fal - Whole Medium Egg - Raw, 1 egg
Milk - Nonfat (fat free or skim), 0.5 cup
Generic - Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
Banana - Medium, Raw, 1 medium sized

Warm large skillet to medium heat. In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and baking powder.
Next add vanilla (optional), and egg. Once that is lumpy and stirred in, add milk a little at a time and stir between pouring. Until it gets to be the consistency cake batter. chop in medium raw banana. smash about half the banana in the bowl and leave about half in big chucks.
Spray skillet with cooking spray. Pour a large spoonful in the center. let it fry until the bubbles pop and leave a hole in the middle. Turn and cook until both sides are nicely browned. Serve hot with syrup or jelly.

    Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup steel-cut oats and 1/3 cup skim milk and let stand 5 minutes. Add 1/4 cup grated apple and 1 beaten egg. In small bowl, mix together 2 teaspoons wheat germ. 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons whole-grain pancake mix. Slowly add dry ingredients to oat mixture. In a medium skillet, heat 2 teaspoons canola oil over medium heat. Add 1/4 of the batter and cook, flipping once until pancake is lightly browned on both sides; repeat. Makes 4 small pancakes (2 servings). Serve with 1/3 cup nonfat Greek yogurt mixed with 1 teaspoon brown sugar.

That reminds me of my favorite pancake recipe! lol. THANKS

About 200-250 calories for entire recipe:
1 package flavored instant oatmeal (low sugar or weight control is best)
1/4 cup egg beaters (or two egg whites)
1/4 cup flavored yogurt (or cottage cheese)
    a dash of baking soda

    Combine and mix well.
Pour 1/4 cup of the mix on a heated and sprayed skillet.
They are very tender so turn over carefully.

    LOL
    Loving the confusion on here...
Flapjacks in England (Wales in the OP's case) are NOT pancakes!!
They're oats, golden syrup and butter and sugar etc.. Yummy but almost impossible to make low calorie sorry!!

You can make them slightly better by using low fat marge not butter etc but still pretty damn bad unfortunately,

These are flapjacks for us brits. Add as much fruit and seeds as you want. Banana and apple juice can be added for extra moisture...

Ha, I was getting confused reading the thread. It was like, "those recipes sound nothing like flapjacks! Are they being passive-aggressive?"
