I know many of you (like myself) have a different weigh day from thursday.

I TRY VERY HARD not to look at the scale till Monday morning. What I did last week is use my regular weigh day of Monday as my weigh day for MFP, and I weigh on Thursday for the challenge.

Gives me a reason to "peek" lol, plus if my weight goes UP between Thurs & Mon, I can take a look back at my diary, maybe see where I went off.

    Just a thought

I worked out every day last week....and gained a pound at this morning's weigh-in. Very discouraging, but I will keep working it!

Make sure you are eating enough calories when you are working out so regularly. Not getting enough calories will result in your body hanging on to its fat cells cuz it thinks you are in starvation mode.

    Can I be in?

Lost over twenty five last year on my own and find ten dreaded pound g
Have crept back largely because I stopped being accountable to others and logging.

Just joined here today and weighing in around 158.

Of note I decided to give up the red wine last weekend as it was only helping stall everything! My goal is 140 pounds, in specific for my June 22birthday!

I honestly don't know how true it is...but they say muscle weighs more than fat. So you may be losing fat and gaining muscle! There have been a couple of times that I have weighed myself first thing in the morning, and then again right after I work out and I always weigh a couple tenths of a pound more.

Keep up the hard work, it WILL pay off!

You're building muscle girl and your body is probably holding on to some extra water. Keep working out. You are building muscle and it is a good thing. Muscle burns fast even after you stop your workout. Drink plenty of water and watch the sodium. You'd be amazed at what keeping sodium under 2000mg can do. :)

I'm sure you'll notice a big difference on next weeks workout. :)

I came across the followning quote that made me smile: "People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily." ~ Zig Ziglar

So, since we can all use motivation and/or a good laugh....

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What new quotes, anecdotes, or one-liners have you come across recently?
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year,
but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas.
    ~Author Unknown

I think this summer challenge falls somewhere w/in that time frame, so we're doing good folks

Great job to everybody!! The first "official" weigh in will be next week since today is technically the "start" day. Obviously some of us had a previous weigh-in from earlier in the week.

So let's recognize our largest weight loss for our "unoffical" week. (Weight lost between 3/13/11 and 3/17/11)

:flowerforyou: Congratulations to our biggest loser of the week: "mjtmorr" with a loss of 5.4 lbs! We are all inspired!

    Have a great week everyone!

My "official" weigh day is today, Saturday, and I am disappointed in myself at 323, I was 2lbs lighter on Thursday AM, although 3.4lbs in a week is still not bad
????????????????My weight seems to yo-yo by a couple of pounds over the course of a week, Thursday I was 321, Saturday 323, and today (Sunday) 320 Since Saturday is my regular weigh day I have recorded the 323 as my weight for this week. ???????????
