Question of the Day: How are you planning to lose the weight to meet your challenge goal?
The first 20lbs came off with 4 - 5 days of intense cardio, but everything stagnated last Fall and the cardio was no longer enough :huh: so after trying a variety of workouts, I finally took that big leap of faith and tried BodyPump....WOW and OMG! 10lbs just melted away :devil: Weights...significant weights changed everything and that 6 month wall came crashing down...amazing.
So I definitely plan to continue with BodyPump 2 - 3 times a week. I still get in 2 days of Zumba and a couple Power Yoga sessions just to keep things changed up from day to day.
I have not been at my present weight in 15 years! Once I break thru those mid -130s, I'll be 20+ years back :laugh: Rewinding the clock, folks...I may be 50, but you won't be able to tell by looking at me!!
:flowerforyou: 50, semi-retired teacher, 141lbs and 5'4.... So if you're looking for a fireball grandma-type and want to really push hard for -12lbs, I'm your gal! :laugh:

Thanks for starting this thread -- this is my first goal challenge. I was so excited this week to be simply "fat" and not "obese!" My next goal is to be able to step on the Wii Fit Balance board and not have the thing go "ouch!"

I think that it is wonderful that you both have set weekly goals for yourselves! Big favor: When we start posting weekly weight please make sure I know what your current weight is. I don't want to accidentally mistake it for the goal weight and mark it wrong on the chart.

i admit it, i didnt do 30 day shred today, truthfully i was TIRED! i did do 60 min at the gym, (i do 45 min 5 days a week & shred every day normally) but with dinner & checking homework & all the other stuff, I just didnt. Ive been doing it for 16 days straight & the only other day i missed was when we were looking for the lost dogs.
i'm back on track tomorrow
and somehow i managed to down 16 glasses of water yesterday - might as well have moved my desk in the ladies room LOL
only 10 today, so at least my eyeballs arent floating anymore.LOL!!!!!!!!0 -
