My weight loss is good. I'm officially my version of skinny but my abs are so soft. they look flat and good when I'm standing. When I sit or bend down they roll. After my c section I pulled an ab muscle by trying to do too much too soon. It was pretty much the most painful thing ever. Well that was 5 years ago and I have gone months doing 120 crunches and ab workouts per day minimum. Nothing happens. My sides will tone but nothing gets any harder in the middle of my belly area from my button down to my scar it just stays, as my son says "like play dough" I've tried every ab workout on the market. I have also tried many different routines. Nothing works. Does anyone else have this problem?

If you have stretched skin from being pregnant, there's not a lot you can do about that other than a tummy tuck. The muscles under may be toned and you can have a healthy body fat % and still just have skin that was stretched out. I have it too. I didn't have a C/S, but have been down to 13% body fat and still have some "loose" skin because I gained way too much weight while I was pregnant.
  • I don't have the stretched skin. I have a few friends who have it, but my skin snapped back just fine. It's the muscles underneath. When I do a situp or a crunch they are #1 very hard to use almost as if they are numb and #2 they are deformed looking. Maybe I will take a pic and put it up so you can see what I mean.
  • OK I'm adding pics to my profile of my abs standing and bending so you know what I mean. This is why I still "feel" fat.
