I have lost 7 pounds so far and it feels and look great but i keep getting discouraged and wondering why my weight is not dropping off when i wasnt meant to be the size i am now. I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy in May 2010 and was 168 and when i had him i was 223 so i had gained over 40 pounds and still struggling to get it off! Now i must admit i dont eat very healthy but i do eat better than i did before....definitely in moderation and i workout 6 times a week to Ghilad Total Body Scultp and Hip Hop Abs and try to eat no later than 730 or 800pm or eat and go to sleep, but i am a snacker and know that could be my downfall and need more Will Power but to entirely give it up i feel i need to start somewhere and thats cutting back but then sometimes i over do it if i havent had it in a while thats why i try not to eliminate everything completely.....Im currently 202 and would love to be at least 190 or 185 by my birthday April 21, 2011 any suggestions?????? :explode:

add sprints 2X a week, and I agree with upping the water intake. I forget to do water unless I'm VERY deliberate about it. Good luck!

It has really helped me to log everything I put in my mouth. I also eat right after vigorous exercise so that the benifits of my workout burn calories more effectively. As a snack eater, you may want to look at the snack choices you are making. If they are high in calorie, maybe you could try choosing healthier snacks like carrots, cucumbers or even a few mini pretzels.

The snacking on raw veggies gives you that crunch you might be craving. When I am craving a sweet snack I turn now to chocolate or vanilla yougurt and add to that few chopped almonds. Almonds are a great alternative to the "bad" snacks.

what are you snacking on? I would suggest replacing your snacks with things that are lower in calories and healthier, ex: my favorite snack use to be ice cream, but now I have replaced it with weight watchers strawberry smoothie ice cream bars (60 cals) or I also snack on popcorn(100cals) or rice cakes (120 cals) or apples and peanut butter. All of which are alot better then a BIG bowl of ice cream that was probably 600 cals. You can do this, just stick to it and try to replace what you are use to eating with better choices
  • Thank you all for the support and motivation it really helps when i have this...i was so thankful for the invite to the site by a friend it is very helpful....now when i say snack i know it seems bad but i really dont snack like that very often but it is like freeze pops, ice cream bars, or the indiviual edy's fewer calories and fat ice cream but i havent been drinking as much water as i was before so thank you i will get right on it! The last thing i want to do is do something drastic to lose the weight then it comes back faster than i gained it but would prefer to lose it over a nice amount of time that way it stays off!!!:flowerforyou:
