...and guess what happened. :-) 8 years ago I'd reached my goal and I lost 130 lbs. HURRAH... Then a few years ago I stopped teaching dance, the dance team I was on ended, I stopped going out multiple times per week dancing... and now.. I'm back up 50 lbs. UGH!!

Okay.. I do love, love, love food. But I hope to curb that and get inventive.. plus exercise more in order to change my profile picture. This current picture is at Ref Fest in 2010. Hopefully there will be a great picture soon enough to change this one.

What else.. I'm teaching ECS again, helping with other classes as well. I foster cats and have three of my own as of today (just adopted a foster). I'm from Kansas but have lived here for fourteen years. One more and I think Houston considers me a citizen for real.

That's about it.

Welcome! First off, I want to say how amazing it is that you lost 130 lbs :) thats quite a feat! If you were able to do that then I know you will be successful again. I know how you feel about loving food lol- Im a culinary student and lets just say...the things we learn to cook are not weight loss friendly lol. Check out the recipe section- there are so many great low calorie recipes on there that will keep you full without being boring :)

Thanks... my nephew, I've been told, plans on moving down here to live with me while going to culinary school. The food lover can't wait to be his guinea pig... but I'm wary. :-) Maybe I'll give him challenges to "make a healthy' version. :-)
