What do you do to reward yourself?

I lost a whole bunch of motivation last week and didn't exercise much. I want to "reward" myself at the end of the week with something that will motivate me to workout throughout the week. But I don't want to spend a bunch (or any) money to do it. Suggestions?

I treat myself to a bottle of OPI nail polish or a nice bottle of bath oil. A nice scented sachet for my panty drawer...there are alot of inexpensive ways to pamper yourself

For me to get a some quiet time, an afternoon to read a favourite book. Or as we have become acustomed to food rewards, I will buy myself a special piece of fruit, that is usually off the budget, but really not as expensive as some chocolates, ie. mango. Treat yourself to a browse around a gallery, or gardens.

with each milestone (which can be whatever u want) i reward myself by treating myself to tanning bed sessions, manicure, pedicure, long bubble baths, window shopping without the kids, and doing things that i enjoy. When i hit 10 pounds im going to get my hair cut. motivating tools can be anything that u enjoy that u will look forward to but dont let it be food bc that just works against all your hard work. good luck!!

Long bubble bath, a glass of wine and a good book.

I take a yoga class as a reward.... or a bubble bath....or, on a great week, both.

I know you said you didn't want to spend much money... but when I want to reward myself I shop! It is the only thing that gives me the same 'rewarded' feeling that I used to get from chocolate chip cookies lol. I just ordered some new shoes from Target.com yesterday... they were buy-on-get-one-1/2 off so both pairs together were $30! I also bought myself some inexpensive summer clothes (like from Old Navy) in my 'new size' as motivation. I have to keep the weight off if I wanna wear them come June ;)

I think rewards are very important especially when the motivation is waning. Is there a book or DVD you've been lusting after? How about going to the movies with your girlfriends? Like most people, I shop. I recently bought a new pair of jeans that are a tiny bit snug and create the oh-so-lovely muffin top as motivation pants. Maybe treat yourself to a dinner out with girlfriends or your partner at a place where you know you can get a low-cal option. If I don't shop, I allocate time to spend with my man who I don't get to see as often as I'd like to thanks to study and work. We both love it :)
